Business Challenge
The core challenge was to automate manual processes. In-order to keep a constant check on the journey of the transporters they had to manually search for and call the driver, wasting a lot of time. Keeping tabs on the shipper was also complex process. Thus, many major operations were left unattended.
Solution Highlights
- Developed an on-demand order handling and transport platform which includes multiple functionalities: Order booking, tracking your vehicle, transporter assignment, etc.
- WSO2 for API manager/ integration on the manufacturer and transport side to integrate with their internal order management application
- Developed an interactive web UI for the manufacturer to make it easier to place orders
