The client is a Canada-based ISV whose core expertise is in automation projects mainly into property and infrastructure. They have developed a dynamic proprietary platforms to maintain their top position and maintenance work.
The client wanted to develop a mobile application that can access and control home electrical appliances in real-time from remote location over a secured VPN connection.
We engaged with the client to transform their end-user experience by providing a software solution to automate and control the home electrical appliances. We developed and maintained access automation and access control system for various types of residential electrical appliances. The solution includes iOS, android applications and sync service, covering following key functionalities.
Mobile client app for Home Control Remote access to configured home lighting and appliances
View real-time device status and remote ON or OFF home electrical equipment including Fan, Light, Camera, Door Lock and AC
OpenVPN –based secured authentication and remote accessibility and connectivity to the core backend service
The solution allows to set up and monitor GSM-based switch modules through the systems web application and add new device wizard; real time connectivity to GSM device using SignalR and IoT
GSM Device Management for input, output and trigger configuration
The GSM Service is a Windows Service which synchronizes the data between the central database and the devices, over a secure channel
